Cooperative Partnership

Holy Cross Anglican Church lives in cooperative partnership with St Margaret's Uniting Church. While the property is a divided lease, the two churches share the use of the church and the two halls. Combined services are held regularly, especially in Holy Week, Advent and Christmas. A committee representing both churches meets to organise these events as well as to care for practical matters such as grounds maintenance and shared costs.

A highlight of the cooperation is the combined choir which sings for special services and other occasions.

This cooperation is unique in the Canberra region.

Holy Cross also cooperates with other churches, both Anglican and from other denominations and has a strong ecumenical commitment.
