The Baptism of our Lord

The Baptism of our Lord marks the beginning of Jesus’ public ministry. As he stepped into the Jordan, the heavens opened, the Spirit descended like a dove, and the Father’s voice declared beloved sonship. In baptism, we are joined to this moment and invited to live as children of God, shaped by repentance, empowered by the Spirit, and upheld by the Father’s love.
