The Third Sunday in Lent

The Gospel reading set for the day is John 4:5–42. Jesus meet a Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well and offered her “living water” and declared that he is the Messiah. She told her town, and many Samaritans believed in him. Jesus stayed with them, and many came to faith through his word.
